Excited to announce in 2026 I will debut an entirely new fantasy world: The World of the Thinlands. I will publish the first novel of the Ashfyre series- A Work of Demons on 5/1/16, with book 2 out 7/1/26.,
A Work of Demons weighs in at 245,000 words, and book 2: A Knife in Every Promise is over 300,000. Each novel in the series will be longer, epic fantasy with a touch of dark/grimdark/romance and an entirely new realm to explore!
I started writing back in 2006, and under my real name I have several traditionally published nonfiction works. I took the leap onto Ebooks in 2017. I write for fun, and to put my kids through college. I write fantasy stories centered in the World of the Thinlands (Grim, dark, low fantasy) and the World of Espa (High fantasy, grim) both worlds of my creation. If you like epic fantasy, elements of romantic, high, grimdark fantasy, and rich world building, I think my writing has something to offer! I hope people will enjoy my stories. This is 100% a pseudonym, and I don't want my real life to intersect with my writing. The two are *very* separate.
In the World of Espa there are 30 books. Chronologically starting with A Key for a Key makes sense, but you can start with any of the series. The Freebooters can stand alone as it's own adventure series, same with Order of the Lark.
